Hello family, friends & maybe strangers who could become family & friends! If you don’t know me, my name is Kayla & I will probably be the primary one posting here. My husband, John, will hopefully join in sometime! For now, you get to read about the many things that go through this grieving momma’s mind.

What is the purpose of Kanaan’s Promise?

• to bring awareness to pregnancy & infant loss. 1 in 4 pregnancies end in loss.
• I have a son. He is the entire reason Kanaan’s Promise exists. I want as many people as possible, when they read this blog, visit any of our social media pages or use any of the products sold, to know he lived.
• I hope families will be able to find comfort in knowing they are not alone on this journey through my heart to share my own journey.

Those are really the three main focuses for me right now. This may change some but it may not.

I started off journaling & then posting on my personal FB page. I felt like I wanted to do something strictly with Kanaan’s name attached. Something that was his so Kanaan’s Promise was born. I have so many dreams for this blog, the products I hope you all will love & eventually annual events in his name.

On this blog, you will read about the loss of Kanaan, our journey to figuring out how to be parents without our son here, trying to conceive again after loss, navigating holidays after loss & I’m sure a lot more!
